2010 CENTURY CYCLING EVENT

Connect 4 a Cure will be hosting an AWESOME cycling event Saturday Sept 25, 2010.  Our special guest is Chris Carmichael, author of “The Time Crunched Cyclist” and trainer of Lance Armstrong who will be riding in the event WITH YOU!

The Ride starts at Del Oro High School – 3301 Taylor Rd. -Loomis, CA.  We will have 30, 65 and 100 mile rides to choose from.  This variety of rides will provide a route for the beginning cyclist to pro.  Our Century ride is challenging as you climb your way through a beautiful scenic tour of the Sierra foothills.   Registration will begin at 6:30 am.  There will be a continental breakfast, aid stations with healthy snacks, post-ride dinner and LIVE music!

Pre registration is recommended as the first 200 riders will receive a FREE copy of Chris Carmichael’s new book “The Time Crunched Cyclist”.  Chris will also be available the night before this event at Bicycles Plus in Folsom, CA for a book signing.

Connect 4 a Cure is a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness of well- being on all levels:  emotional, mental, physical and spiritual.  Our purpose is to provide a coherent and credible voice to educate society to the needs of people who battle life threatening diseases – primarily children with cancer.   Our goal is to work in conjunction with key affiliates to fundraise through organized group activities and events.  Proceeds are specifically targeted toward medical research and financial assistance for children and their families who suffer from debilitating diseases….
